My personal favourite is the first screen with the balloon, shows just how realistic the scenery looks.  Smiley

What grabbed my attention the most are the second and third shots.

#2: Check out the detail of the airport building.

#3: Awsome DVC.

Cheesy

PS: Holy Crab! Look at the eleventh screenshot shown in the preview article. The building are actually casting shadows on the planes as well. Shocked

Just saw that... would be great if mountains could cast shadows on the planes and scenery objects as well... I hated those sun-lighted objects in the shadow of a montain in FS9...

I love the textures and the landscape Cheesy. It seems really awesome because so far the ground in FS was so flaaaat... Roll Eyes. And the trees.... gee the trees in FS2004 actually look like randomly dropped from the sky no matter where you're flying. On the first screenshot they seem so real Shocked. And the different colors of the textures seem very realistic too. I'm lovin it 8).

Cheers

There is one goal the team is aiming for: FSX will perform just like FS9 on the same system, but then with all new features enabled.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Same.

Oh, Daube, if the airport terminals cast shadows on the ground and planes, i think they would've put aircraft shadow casting scenery mesh.  i hope.  cross fingers Lips Sealed  whoops, thats the mouth. Grin
