Hilo, This may sound like stupid question: When downloading files off of website. how does one change where the file should be downloaded to? For instance if files had been sent to temp folder, how does one change to send files to wherevah you want them? Thank you, jakob

When you save the file it should give you a small screen with folders and things in it, click on where you want the file to save and from then on it should stay as your default saving point Wink

Thanks for responding. My problem is when I click to download, it starts to download and I don't see any options of whether to save or anything. I hope I'm myself clear. Thank you, jakob

Use "save the target of the link under..." (firefox) or "save the target under..." (IE). It must be something like that but I'm not sure because as I'm french I'm using windows' french version Embarrassed.

If using your browsers download manager...

In Firefox go to "tools-options-downloads", there you will find a place you can designate where you want your downloads to go.

In IE, I don't use it but would assume you can set up your download location in a similar manner.

If using a third party download manager suxh as Getright, Flashget etc, you should be able to assign a location within thier option settings, most times before the download begins.

Right-click on the link & select 'Save Target As' (IE) or 'Save Link As' (Firefox).
