Shutting down all non essential programs (Read 148 times)

Hi yall  8)

Is there a free ware program that will safly shut down all of the non essential programs that are running in the back ground of windows?

Don't know of any, but you could also press CTRL + ALT + DEL to bring up the windows task manager and quickly shut them down yourself. That's how I do it Wink

Download a nice little utility called FSAutostart ... google for it .... it tells you what's safe and what isn't safe to shut down.

Highly agree with the above, FSAutoStart is the way to go!

Not only shuts down unneeded programs and processes, will defragment your ram and launch any application you want it too! Which means it can be used for anything not only FS9.

When done with the application it will automatically restart all that it shut down if you wish Wink
