FSDS3 - MakeMDL Error?????? (Read 254 times)

Hi all

i'm working in the kfir c7 and when i try to generate the mdl the program MakeMDL says that it is not possible make the model

I guess that is for the names  ??? the Log file says this

For all these parts,.....

Go ,.... well how you would fix in gmax is select and weld vertice(tho im pretty sure u can do the same in FSDS), Weld and select "selection" set to "0.001". Btw do this to each part that I have listed above. Why this error message occurs, is from haveing two vertice or multiple vertice close together and fs doesn't like that. Hope this helps. Smiley BTW haven't had much time to work on those c130 repaints.

BTW your kfir looks really good (but i prefer mine Wink) but dont forget put the air intake in the root of the tail

Off course, in makemdl.exe you can just turn off all warnings and bad normals .....

but it really is better to create your mesh properly ...

I can change some distances between parts, but for example
i'm try to transfer the uh-60L since FSDS2.24 to 3, but this model is done in differents parts, i mean

the fuselage is made in 3 parts, tailboon / center of fuselage / nose, i use the option to make the points coincide to make the model looks like one piece, but now with the MakeMDL the model can not be generated, i export the model to X file and since then try to make the mdl with the MakeMDL, i turn off all the warnings but now, the animations are incorrect, the model dont have vc, some parts dont recognize their textures and things like that.  Roll Eyes Cry

How do you have your MakeMDL????

THis is mine

* Ignore Bad Normals
* Ignore warnings

and i put exit, but the program dont remember this changes.

Please help, i'm desperate  with this problem

One question, if i make the mdl with the FS2004's MakeMdl the model can be use in Fs2002???? or Should I make the 2 mdl, one for 2002 and one for 2004???
