??? I have an MI-6 Hook ( a BIG Helo) and I am working on giving it real flight dynamics, (real-er) It came with turbine engine stats, then you hit the flaps and it would skyrocket  Roll Eyes

I have the .air and .cfg pretty much set (I used the stock Robinson as i know more about piston engine dynamics) The Helo's empty weight is set a 65000 lbs and it can take-off but vibration is relativly bad, not too bad though, but the Helo wants to fly sideways. Any thoughts on how to fix this

???

Undecided now that................well  Sad

this is the part i need help on

[Helicopter]
reference_length= 100.58<<is this the actual Length of the Helo?
reference_frontal_area = 17.7<<suface area of nose?
reference_side_area= 44.5<<side Surface area?
side_aero_center= -12.5<< no idea
right_trim_scalar= 1.0<< scale for anti torque
correlator_available= 1 << no idea
governed_pct_rpm_ref   = 1.04 << governed % rpm referance? no idea what this means
governor_pid = 0.4, 0, 0.1, 0, 0.2 <<no idea
rotor_brake_scalar     = 1.0 << scale for rotor brake
torque_scalar          = 1.0 <<scale for main rotor torque
cyclic_roll_control_scalar  =1.0 << no idea
cyclic_pitch_control_scalar =1.0 <<no idea
pedal_control_scalar =1.0 <<scale for yaw control
collective_on_rotor_torque_scalar = 1.0<< rotor speed torque

Disregard........................... I got it, but now I am trying to do a turbine engine  Cry

As for the piston engine, it turns out that a Pratt and Whittney R-4360 (later model with 3500 hp) will get it aloft, I may write a small readme for anyone who wants to change their helos so they are more realistic.

Wish me luck Roll Eyes
