There used to be weekly SimV dogfights in CFS2 a while ago. Tongue

Plus I think FS9 works best because almost everyone has it. Plus if you don't, the FSHost can bridge the gap between FS8 and FS9.

my vote went to other which means il2, despite it can be complicated due to the patchs issue.
otherwise, I can re-install CFS3, and of course FS9 is also good for me.

To my way of thinking, CFS 2 was especially designed for this type of game-play...8)...!

...Guns and bullets galore...using CFS 2 aircraft... Grin...!

Cheers all...!

Paul...(I ALWAYS die very quickly in CFS 2... Wink..!
LOL...!

P.S. Note: CFS 2 was always more popular than CFS 3... Wink...!

CFS2/CFS3. Though I've voted for CFS2 as I think it's supposed to handle multiplayer better. Yesterday was really confusing, as people didn't really know who'd been killed, and who'd killed who.

I remember playing a demo of a game. Think it was probably cfs1, were you could bring up a display at the left side of the screen and see how badly damaged everything on your plane is. (is that cfs1?) and if so does cfs 2 have the same thing. I cant remember the name of the game but you also got damaged if you attacked your own airfield.(is that cfs 1) and is cfs2 better?

Hi Soup...Grin...!

CFS 2 is to be highly recommended for all shoot-em-up- fliers!
It is available now on budget at all good game stores.

CFS 2 and FS 2002/2004 are two entirely different programs.

CFS 2/3 is aimed at shoot-em-up fliers. (CFS 2 is the best)!
FS 2002/FS 2004 is aimed at Civilian pilots.
(I have all of them on my hard drive)

Cheers all...!

Paul...dies in CFS 2...but not in FS 2004... Wink... Grin...!
