Have you seen this in IMAX? or in the Military Channel called "Red October" ?

Well i am not doing it yet, i need lots of people for this.

Details:

Airport: Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Players: The most we can
Airplanes needed:

UH-60 Black hawk
A-10
F-15
F-16
(optional) F-18 Super Hornet

Game needed: FS9
When: Not yet announced
Host: Not yet anounced

What? How does it work?
Well one pilot is going to fly to a random location and land, yes in the dessert, he will say his last heading before "loose control"
2 teams, F-15 are for the good guys, F-16 for the bad guys. The killing of planes will be complicated, just try to imagine the bullets going and type BAM I got [inser name] and please, be legit. When shot go back about 20 miles, then back to action.
The A-10's search for the pilot at low altitudes
UH-60's pick up the downed pilot. To pick him up the downed pilot needs to change to a black hawk an dfly to the base.

Well hope people get interested!!!!  Grin

The Wargames haven't actually happened yet, I still foresee many problems with actually scoring a 'kill'.

If you want to simulate combat flying it makes sense to use a combat flight simulater, ey?

It's still a nice concept, but I'd rather play a cold war stand-off scenario where both sides hunt for a downed aircraft and desperately try NOT to be the first to open fire.

Is there any way to prevent the red numbers appearing over the top of an aircraft, even if an unscrupulous player turns them on?

Yes you can turn them off, from the options then go to ATC... well who here wants to be the host, or tell me a good hosting site?

Ah, but that only turns them off as far as you looking for other planes.  If someone else was looking for you, is there some way you can make your plane 'invisible' as far as the red letters are concerned?  Otherwise it's going to make finding a downed aircraft very easy as soon as someone gets within 10 miles of it.
