Micro sims2002 STILL freezing or crashing system (Read 395 times)

Hi i have a problem with my flight sims 2002
nearly every time i come into land the sims freezes it causes my system to crash, the screen stalls with audio still going, no matter what key i hit nothing happens, i have to reboot the system from the mains.
it mainly happens when i come into land it has froze on take off only once, i could fly for 2 hours with no promblems until i coming to land,
my system has,
64mb ati graphics 350mhz
2.0 ghz processor
512mb ram
80g h/d
IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM IT WOULD BE GREAT,I DON,T WANT TO HAVE TO REINSTALL IT BECAUSE OF ALL THE ADD ONS I HAVE EDITED AND INSTALLED

Hello !
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a reinstall may be the only way to fix this problem.
If you do this move all of your add on scenery and air craft to a seperate folder that way you will not loose them make sure to move your Scenery CFG file as well it will save you form having to reenter all of the scenery.
You might not want to add all of your scenery back as odds are that a scenery file caused this problem to start with I would add them one at a time and check to make sure. 8)

Hi i Reinstalled micro flight sims 2002 to no avail
it still started freezing on landings,
So must be a hardware issue because i defragmented my drive aswell and that did not work,
Have you any ideas after all that?

Is that happening everywhere ? Or only there you have installed addon scenery ?
I fear that your PC is too slow.

Ya it has happened a couple of times on take off,
I'd say i,m in need of a new graphics card i only have a radeon 7500 64mb installed i,d need a 128mb at least
