does anyone know where i can download planes from? ive tried flightsim.com and another but was looking for somewhere different. can anyone recommend anywhere?

What is wrong with the wealth of stuff we have right here at SimV? If you are looking for something specific just post it in the aircraft wanted forum and I'm sure we can help Wink

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Click on the "Simviation Free Site" link at the top left of the page. Then "Downloads", then one of the categories under "FS2002". You have an unlimited amount of time. The only thing that is limited is the number of simoultaneous connections (2) and the speed (30-40kbps for me). If you dont find what you want here, go to www.avsim.net, they have just as much if not more over there.
