So I’m working out my problems with Yokota Air Base, and I ran across this. When I try to add a parking space to a node, I have to add an apron link to get the parking space recognized. Then, I have to move the parking space back under the node. The end of the concrete then changes shape, leaving me to add a bit of concrete to the tip. This is what I’ve done with #33 & #34 in the first picture. For #35, I deleted the node and then created a new apron link. But the concrete surface didn’t show up, so I had to draw a new piece of concrete for the whole parking space.
...

When I check the properties on #35, it tells me that it’s a parking connector. It also says that the surface is concrete, but doesn’t show the surface.
...

When I checked the properties on #34, it’s a taxiway. (The line from the node to the parking spot is too small to see so it ends up hidden behind the node.) Again, the surface is concrete, but in this case, it actually shows up.
...

So what’s the best way to create a parking space so that it’ll show up with the curves at the base and the surface showing up? I would think that the technique I used for #35 would work, but for some reason I don’t have a surface. This airport has over 100 parking spaces, so I’m also looking for a direct way to create and connect parking spaces. Any advice?

"Then, I have to move the parking space back under the node"
Negative.
Do not have nodes underneath parking spaces (or anything else).
Create the taxiways and the parking spaces and join them with the apron taxi link.

To add tarmac for parking extend the Closed Taxiway link beyond the parking spot or use apron polygon to cover the ground.

Run Fault Finder when completed.
