Hi all.  MS included a number of major sports venues in the default scenery as pertaining to the various ball sports but totally overlooked the second most watched and attended sport here in the US.  There is something majorly wrong with flying over the Indianapolis area and not seeing the speedway.  Or over Daytona and not seeing that one.  Or about flying over Delaware Route 1 and no "Monster" mile at Dover. I could on and on about all the tracks that aren't there.  A big scenery overlook considering these tracks are facilities that could easily contain a small city of 50,000 people in the case of the huge super speedways.  Does anyone know where I might be able to find race track scenery add-ons??  Thanks a lot.

There is an add on for Indy.

And as an avid skier.....my pet peeve is that NONE of the 600+ ski areas in the USA are included... not to mention those in the rest of the world.  It doesn;t have to be the buildings.... but the trails are not even "cut".

It is weird to fly up Little Cottonwood Canyon out of Salt Lake City and not see Snowbird and Alta, out of Aspen and not see Ajax and Snowmass, and Buttermilk, and Aspen Highlands, and so on.

Ive never found a ski area add on secenery yet.

best,

Well John, it's as I said.  Both types of venues take up loads of realestate.  Flying along the Daytona coast in real life Daytona International Speedway fairly dominates that local area of Daytona Beach, Fla.  A 2.5 mile around superspeedy could conatain dozens of football, baseball, and soccer stadiums as well as arenas.  Also, there are definate aviation connections among the NASCAR crowd.  Jack Roush owns 3 727's, 2 p-51's, a Cessna 421, a King Air-200 and several piston singles and is type rated to fly em all.  Most of the more successful car owners and drivers come and go to the tracks by helicopter after arriving in the area by corporate jet.  A number of them died in air accidents.  Davy Allison, Allen Kulwickie, and recently members of the Hendrix team and family.  Also, I am sure in the real world these huge facilities have a lot of VFR value.  I am sure a lot of that applies also to major ski areas.  I hope in the next version MS includes any and all scenery that would be considered major VFR landmarksor serve as the basis for flight adventures.  Like ski trips for the rich and providing aireal coverage of the Daytone 500.
