I never really have much scenery for my flight simulator 9, except for a few meshes here and there, and some sceneries of my favorite places. I would like to explore some of your favorite free scenery places though!

So list your favorite sceneries, and where you got them Grin

G'Day rocket, since I live in western Australia, i normally fly around here a lot. So i go to

www.westsim.com.au

This has freeware scenery for jandakot which is the local GA airport, as well as a few others. It also has landmarks for perth, SW landclass mesh scenery to get the hills looking fantastic. At the moment, they are developing Perth 2005 payware add on scenery which is the most realistic scenery for Perth ever, the screens look great, and its still in beta format.

The scenery for Perth in Fs2002 is totaly dumb. I wish that Perth scenery wasn't payware Undecided

yes once again, australia, particularly perth western australia gets the short end of the stick when coming to quality scenery. the last time i saw decent scenery for perth was back in FS 98, 7years!!!!!!!!!! you'd ahve though that they woulda made an effort with australia this time

I would have to say VFR Prague www.fsscenery.org almost every building is there and you get textures and mesh!

Terrain mesh for England, Scotland, N. Ireland, Eire and Wales. Quite a vast improvement over many parts of Scotland and Wales, or anywhere with plenty of hills!

Here's some of what I find to be some of the best scenery around (I do most of my flying around the Asia/Malaysia region)

Grab Tom Harlaar's Malaysia airlines Hibiscus if you havn't already got it.
Ok so some of this scenery isnt the best detail wise but i think almost anything is better than the default, and it gives you atleast some sense of what the real place is like. Grin
