To put it short enough, does anyone have a simple gas gauge that has [ Main tank / Aux tank / drop tank ] i have a couple of AC and they all have different gauges it seems, but all the aircraft that should have a guage above either use a P-51 gauge or stock.
If someone has one, ill give them my email, or if someone could make one, (nothing fancy just like the one described above)
Please.... I have four AC waiting on a three way tank selector
What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....&&&&&&&&&& The GMax effect

You should try to download FSedit sdk you can get it from :
http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/fs2004_downloads_sdk.asp
It gathers all the guages from all your aircraft if you have a aircraft with the guage that you want you can just drag and drop the guage where you want on your panel.
When you want to edit an aircraft and it says read only
goto your aircraft's CFG file an where is says editable it will have 0 beside it just replace 0 with 1 and then save
Now you can edit your aircraft.
hope this helps

thanks ill have to try that..
anyway my problem is the AC has two center tanks and one or two external tanks and i have to use a stock Corsair selector which has seven different tank selections... left wing tank, right wing tank, a center tank, an Aux. tank, drop tank, and off.
all i need is center, Aux., and drop.

As i said if you have another aircraft with the same type of gauge that you want you can just drag and drop it on to your panel With FSedit it's a really good program but i dont use it verry much because im into makeing my own gauges i would make you one but im just learning now but when i learn if you want a gauge or button send me a pm and i will see what i can do but i'm not sure when i will be able to make you one but when i learn how to make them i will send you a pm ok
Good luck bro

You're the first person I've seen to say that in all the years I've been a member of this forum. FSEdit must be one of the worst pieces of software it's been my misfortune to try. I would suggest CfgEdit if you wish to modify or create panels. Although it won't read XML gauges this can be easily overcome with a little knowledge of Panel.cfg. I suspect that Falcon already knows how to do that anyway. He's looking for a suitable gauge rather than asking how to use it.
PS. FSEdit was first introduced with FS2000 Pro & also included with FS2002 Pro. It's a great idea & could be very useful if only it had been properly developed & tested before release. It always had the reputation of being very unstable & full of bugs so most people with any experience refuse to have anything to do with it. I haven't tried the latest version but I doubt it's been improved.

I knew what you meant but didn't reply earlier as I don't know of a suitable gauge. It helps to be as specific as possible & you didn't say which version of FS/CFS you want this gauge for. FSEdit would be no use for CFS & wouldn't even work if you don't have FS9 installed.

well the gauge is for CFS2 and i have a P-47D, a Spit 9 LF, and a Spad 13 and well most likly a few more in the future...
most came with a P-51 guage or something similar but it only has a left and a right. I have a P-47 Guage but it only has a Center and aux tank, the aux tank selction doesnt even work

If you can't find a suitable gauge you could try repainting the markings on that Corsair gauge you mentioned with GauBmp2. Simply remove the options you don't need. This won't be completely authentic as it will still have all the other positions but it will look right.
