Well, on August 4th, I will begin my trining for my Commercial rating!  My CFI says I should be done with Stage IV before school starts (sept 22nd) and wll on my way to finishing it before the end of fall quarter.  We decided it would be best to finish my commercial under FAR Part 61 instead of 141.  This way I don't have to worry about review flights, and don't have to repeat any flight's I've already covered for my instrument rating.

As of now, I already have a good 50% of my aeronautical experience requirements met... I just need some VFR XC's and night flying experience.  Smiley  Oh yeah, and flying the Arrow (constant speed prop and retractable gear)  I'll take one of those weekend ground courses to get the written out of the way.  So, yeah, I'm pretty excited!  Got a brand new logbook, and my commercial oral exam guide!  Wohoo!!

The day is always better when you're flying upside down.&&&&www.fight2flyphoto.com&&&&Canon RebelXT&&Canon 18-55mm&&Sigma 10-20mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 100-300mm F/4-6.3&&Sigma 50-500mm F/4-6.3

Rock on, Boss!  Grin
  Well done, keep it up, etc.
Wish I had the time and money to just keep charging along like that; I'd like to eventually get my CFI, the idea being to have a post-retirement career, at least.
I've got over 20 years, so I just might make it... Grin
But if I hit the lottery tomorrow.... Grin
