10510 Yes you should buy it if you like World war two combat simlators.

I also recommend you buy  combat flight simulator two as well. this way you can enjoy the whole specrtum of world war two combat simulation. From the European Theater to the Pacific Theater. With all the down loads available in this and other communioty driven  websites you should be able to recreate the whole war.

least not forget CFS1. That one was the first one in the series. Not the most sophisticated one in the series but the most immersing in its own way. Its simplicity its what makes it a great flight simulator.

You can also buy Forggoten Battl/ Ace/Pacific Fighter and European Air war. This two are great World war two flighter simulators too.

They are all great simulator but non are perfect. The fun thing to do is to build your own combat flight simulator collection.

Perhaps you can start with CFS3 if you want. But do not forget there are other good flight simulators as well. They all classics and they all have strong cimmunities that will help along the way in upgrading your simulator.

World war two was fought all over the world. Do not get stuck in the Europe nor the Pacific air war. I highly recommen that you fly and fight in every Theater. For every side and every Air Force, That way you will enrich your experience ten fold.

Fly as many planes as possible. I have found members that only fly for the U.S. Navy or the German Airforce.

Please do not do that. That way your will only short circuit your simulating experience.

Do not treat this simulators as advesaries but as different enhancer of your simaltor experience.

Where can I find this simulators. Well you can start with www.Amazon.com or www.gamestop.com. or perhaps you can look thru google search.

I forgot www.Ebay.com  if you now how buy thru them.

Its darn worth it,
believe me.

I hope I have been helpful

European Air War is a classic, and still worth owning, if you can find it.  I've played a bunch, and my humble opinion is EAW is the most immersive of all.  And even though it's old, the graphics are still pretty decent.

get your EAW addons here:

Heh, I remember in EAW escorting a flight of bombers back across the channel, and learn of an outbound formation getting mauled because it has no fighter escort.  Then I can get vectored over in that direction and begin mixing it up!

Now, that's what I call immersion!   Grin

Thanks James,

Kinda got busy for a while.  You know, I still don't have CFS3 yet?  Don't  know what I'm waiting for.

I got it when it was released,   and have had  the best   of times in it . I try my best to promote it,  and  still fly CFS2 often.

I make it a concious effort  to  get those  that I meet in the games , to visit  sites  like this, through links from my own sites,  to enhance their experiences.  I try to share  those  tricks ,  that others  just use to their own advantage.

CFS3 rocks.  just , use care  in what and how ya add to it.
I have PF now,  but  like  CFS2 & 3  alot more.( no huge patches to make them playable )

YES

mainly for two reasons :

http://off.oldbrowndog.net/

and

http://www.medairwar.com

but no if :
- you want to record movies
- you're heavily into multiplayer

Other than that, it has its pluses and minuses but definetely worth it.
