??? Hello my latest version of media player did a search on my hard drive and located lots of FS2002 sound files. i deleted them from my media library but they seem to have been deleted from flight sim and the pc as well. can I simply copy and paste from a download into individual aircraft folder or have to reinstall FS 2002

Just copy all sounds into the FS2002 sounds folder and everything should be fine. Default sounds can be copied off the FS disks Wink

You can, and I do, shuffle sound files around in fs2002. Simply "copy" a pleasing sound folder from a similar aircraft and "paste" it into recipient. check "yes" when asked to overwrite. You can even copy just one sound like "touchdown "as in when you want a different squeal from the tires on landing.
