I want to keep the pilot's seat raised and keep it there (not losing the position anytime I change view). I know it can be done from panel.cfg but I don't remember the code. Can anyone help?

probably varies from ac toac and 2002 to 2004 etc, but I have changed mine in aircraft.cfg, not panel (usually)
The setting is viewpoint_
Increasing the number increases the seat height, or visiion over the ac panel

Yes, I remember now. It is the aircraft.cfg and not the panel. Thanks a lot.

The Aircraft.cfg entries define the viewpoint in the DVC. This won't change the 2D panel front view. If it's possible to permanently "raise the seat" in Cockpit view those entries will be in Panel.cfg.
