hi all

was just trying to find out if there is any information out there about setting up aircraft cfg and air files.

I recommend using the MS FS SDK Aircraft Container as a basis for the cfg file:

Then, go here to pick up info on .air files:

http://perso.wanadoo.fr/hsors/FS_Soft/index.html

You might check out Tom Goodrick's very nice .pdf on Flight Dynamics concepts in FS found also on that site.  Though written a few years ago, the concepts stand.
