Hi
I've just upgraded the puter with nice new bits (AMD64 - 2800 , m/b-GA-VT800Pro, Raedon 9600XT ) and XP pro but now I have a problem that my expensive M$ Force Feedback Precision Pro one stick and even more expensive Hoffman rudder pedals that connects to them won't work anymore.
Can someone please help me.
The wife is away for the next two weeks so I've got to get this fixed before she comes back !!
thanks
chuck

Hi Ozzy
when I plug a MS SideWinder Precision Force Feedback One stick into the gameport nothing is recognised.
I can add the MS auto detect Sidewinder in XP but that comes up in the Game Contoller Panel as a MS Sidewinder 3D which is an analog stick.
It seems that the gameport devices which are digitial in their workings and use the Midi port etc for comms no longer are able to work in XP. I can;t even load the control Sidewinder 3.2 software.
Is there a hardware device that can be used to interface the Digitial Gameport controllers to a USB port?

thanks
chuck
