When you flare, smoothly reduce power to idle while simultaneously lifting the nose slightly and gradually.

Also don't forget to use your flaps
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Slow down.
Use flaps.
Slow down.
Just before runway.
Pull back, at stall speed (Just remember, this has to be literally a couple of feet above the runway, not a couple of hundred!).
Then.......
Hope for a soft landing!
Greg
If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.

and also youll have to check your speed im sure you know that depends from what plane are you flying
bewaring no to get stall EX::747=like 190-170 knuts full flaps
777=180-165 full flaps
737=150-135full flap,Lear=150-130full flaps,cessna(not sure)80-60knuts full flaps and so,the others,if youre too fast of couse the nose will raise up,all this information i given here i from my own experience so maybe are not exact but the important here is that you have to control the right speed awaring the kind of aircraft youre flying also i think you may get that inf. in fs9
Cheers

Don't forget your spoilers, they re-direct the air to reduce the lift of the wings.
