Personally I find Photoshop much better. Although its much harder to use and learn i think that the filters and all of the different functions are much better. Although it does take longer to load.

I personally love PSP8, I nearly didn't get it after 7 as that was horribly difficult, but 8 is simple, quick and wonderfully efficient.

I'd go with the Paint Shop Pro series, way easier to use, and it comes with just about everything you need for repainting, also a lot cheaper!

Somebody mentioned a version 9 of PSP, anybody know anything more about it?

I use (try to Wink ) PSP8, and like it somewhat but as with most paint programs I find some stuff difficult. Never liked Photoshop bought one release and got rid of it quick! I can't justify paying that amount of money that you need a Degree just to use it Grin Grin

Wrong - got it today, Thursday ...  installed it, PSP8 is now gone.  Am keeping PSP7, but if initial impression remains, PSP9 is here to stay.
