There should be a readme file some where in this download.
This is an AI addon you will need TTools as stated in the thread Just follow those instructions.
Do not expect to be able to fly these as they are AI aircraft only. 8)

Heya Ace,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

I did a slightly different approach with Air Force One.  You have to first download the basic aircraft for the Project AI 747-200 available here:

http://www.projectai.com/packages/download_model.php?fileid=47

You will also need a Project AI Installer.  It's also available on the Project AI website.

The next thing to do is to get the texture.

Unfortunately I could not find Justin McGehee's AF-1 texture here at Simviation.  So please Ozzy72 or Fly2e don't ban me for giving out this link:

http://www.fsdome.com/cgi-bin/download.pl?url=uploads03/dec/af1jsm.zip

Now install the aircraft and texture into your FS 2004 main Aircraft folder.

The reason why I chose the Project AI 747-200 was because this aircraft is really frame-rate friendly.

What I did next was to use a flightplan creation program to plan the route the Air Force One was to take.  There is a good Utility by Garrett Hardesty called Simple AI available here:

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004utilities3.htm

I created a flightplan for Air Force One to take off from Andrews AFB to Dulles Intl then go to Dallas/Ft.Worth Intl. (although you can make the destination anywhere else).  I scheduled the return flight for 3 days later.

I then used Traffic Tools by Lee Swordy to compile the flightplan into FS 2004.

I believe that the latest version of Traffic Tools is 2.02 and is available here:

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004utilities1.htm

So all I have to do now is to select an escort aircraft(usually Dino Cattaneo's F-14 or Kirk Olsson's F-16.  Both are excellent aircraft).  I will then take off from Andrews AFB, circle until the AF-1 takes off, escort it to Dulles where I land, park, and shutdown.  I'll then use the FS 2004 time compression (I don't want to sit around for an hour waiting for the President to finish shaking hands) to "fast-forward" until the AF-1 is ready to depart for Dallas.  I'll then "escort" AF-1 onto the runway at DFW.

Now I know that this all sounds really difficult, however, if you need any assistance at all don't be backwards about coming forwards for help.  I for one will be happy to help out.
