It's official, Halo 2 is coming out November 9th, 2004. Just wanted to see how many people liked Halo enough to get Halo 2. And if you pre-order it you get a nice shiny metal box with lots of nice little extras. I'm one of those guys, so I'm gonna pre-order it. Grin

Ha Ha! I just pre-ordered it and got a choice of the box or the.. "Shiny Box!" I got the... "Shiny Box!" Ya it's a little early to pre-order it, like 6 months early, but atleast it's guarenteed now!

I saw them playing the trailer for Halo 2 at Electronics Boutique and I have to admit it looked pretty good, I played Halo for a little while but I don't think I got too far into it before my attention was caught by some other title, I have many games that suffer this fate.
I'll buy Halo 2 about a year after it comes out when the price drops to $19.99.

I have never pre-ordered or reserved a copy of anything, because a week or two after most games are released someone will put it on sale, and if you wait a month or two you can find it on Ebay for nearly half the price you will pay at the store.

That's hard for me, to wait a year or so for the price drop. Because I'll be knowing the whole time that people are already playing it and enjoying, and beating me to it! But, I hardly pre-order anything. I just liked Halo so much I thought it be good. This and Spiderman 2. Looks awesome.

If you are that big of a fan of the Halo games I can understand that you would want to get it right away, I'm not all that into first person shooters so I can wait.
I can't deny that it looks like a great game though.
