Thought provoking....

Grin

A) The number of physicians in the US is 700,000

B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year is 120,000

C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171 (US. Dept. of Health and Human
Services) Tongue

Now, think about this: Grin

A) Number of gun owners in the US. Is 80,000,000 (yes, 80 million)

B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups) is 1,500.

C) The number of accidental gun deaths per owner is 0000188. Statistically,
doctors are about 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Fact: not everyone has a gun, but almost everyone has at least one doctor.

Please, alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors
before this gets out of hand.

In the interests of public safety, the statistics on lawyers have been
omitted for fear that the shock would cause people to seek medical attention
and buy a gun!

Lol, I'm glad I live in Scotland. I have friends in Texas and they say that gun crime is really bad. I think most houses have at least one gun, - just for self defence.
Thankfully over here, most people don't own one.
I have actually never held a gun that could be fatal if used. Sounds stupid, but I have hardly seen any either! Apart from those on military parades, and some antique ones in museums!

I printed that off while I was at work tonight. All of the nurses thought that it was funny but I'm afraid the medics didn't like it at all Grin
