I suspect the problem is with a 3rd party aircraft. I think the CFG tweak is basically for the defaults. All 3rd party aircraft are different as you will discover when you check out that Tcdfsview utility.
I found the similar utility for the default aircraft I mentioned. mdledit_V1-1a here.
