Anyone tried Staiduks 'Take Back The Pacific' campaign yet? It's certainly different, pity about the No vocals on the radio!

Hello Happ; glad you like it! Or at least; I hope you like it! LOL
The one that's up there right now is really just the prototype. When I finished that first volume; I intended the series to be entirely linear, mainly due to the restrictions of building NW missions.
Subsequent experimenting has got me to developing TBTP mk.2. I'm rebuilding it; this time as a dynamic campaign It's a bit trickier; but better in the long run - 15 missions rather than 10; (though if you do everything right the first time; you'll only see 10 of 'em.)
Also; as you noted; the thing that's driven me most buggy was having to type radio commands. I originally thought making sound files for them would make the package too big; but I'm experimenting; suffice it to say the v1.2 will have audible - and non-visible - radio commands. Now all I have to do is convince my friends to be voice-actors....hard enough getting 'em to help me move a fridge! Grin
Cheers!

I tried it out, too. Had to scroll around the flight map a little to locate the flight plans for each mission, but it was cool. An inventive idea, Staiduk - look forward to the next version!

Hi Padser; actually that was a mistake on my part; except for placed markers; you shouldn't be able to see any info on the map at all. Wink

Like it a lot Staiduk, i'm no pilot & i find i'm easily disorientated in a furball, good job it's on an island!! in your next ones how about putting interception heights in the briefing ? the coastal watchers are pretty good y'no & would estimate height's & strength, when i've wildcated it out i'll try it with some of my addon aircraft. regards Happ
