Well, maybe lost isn't the right word.  I guess I'm just getting a bit overzealous.

Anyway, I am adding landing lights to my aircraft and I found myself with seven already, with more on the way.  It occurred to me that this might be a tad too many, and I was wondering if there is any sort of rule-of-thumb about how many landing lights an aircraft should have.  Or is it just an arbitrary thing? ???
