Whilst flying on line, FS9 just randomly closes down completely!!
Sometimes after 1 hour it closes, and other times after only 5 minutes......
I have direct X 9 installed, My PC Sec is: - 2.6P4, ASUS GF 5600 Ultra & GF 44O MX with two monitors, 1 GIG RAM, 2 x HDD 7200 and ASUS P875 M/Board.
Any ideas what could be causing this???
Thanks guys

this is a long shot but a quick question?
has it done this since you bought fs9 or only appeared lately? if it has only occured lately then my advice is to remove all the aircraft apart from the stock aircraft in the aircraft folder and try again... sometimes installing an aircraft can cause quite annoying problems....
dont realy have any other ideas but if it continues doing it reinstall fs9 and all graphic and direct x drivers and if it still is doing it then reinstall windows

make sure that you have a good airflow in your computer. Clean it if you havent done so. Heat used to do that to my older computer.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll try out the suggestions.
Daz, I've had this problem since I got FS9.... it
only
happens on line though. However, one of the first things I did was to copy over my 2004 compatible aircraft, and the associated gauges, effects and textures.....
So, it sounds like a re-installation of FS9 and systematic addition of A/C should be made!
Copied the reply loomex! I'll get my duster out - and keep an eye on the temp's....
Any other suggestions..... fire away
