Hi Everyone Grin

I'm trying to design some scenery but have hit a problem.  I'm attempting to use AFCAD 2.04 to redesign an airport.  I've added new gates, runways, parking, taxiways etc with no problems as it's such a good program.  When I tested it in FS 9 I found out that I need to do a scenery exclude as trees are growing through runways etc etc!
I spent last night surfing for tools and found BGL TKit32 and made my exclude area of 7sq miles using co-ordinates from AFCAD.  The problem is I've now got nothing but a flat area devoid of everything except grass !  Is there anyone out there who could help me with this ?   ???

Blimey - 7 sq miles - surprised it doesn't look like the bl**dy Sahara desert!

Excludes only need to cover the area affected. And with an exclude only 20 METRESx 20 METRES you can take out a whole object - like a runway - if you pop it over the object's reference point!

Anyway, at least you've learnt what excludes do!

Try using your exclude as a rapier thrust - rather than as a socking great demolition ball! If necessary, use 2 or 3. In my Kai Tak scenery of got at least 6 or 7 to remove unwanted features while leaving other features in that are close by to the excluded ones
