Aaarrrrrgggghhhh......
I had updated my Bristol Airport scenery for FS2004 (it was looking alot better) and was waiting for the release of AFCAD to release it......
In the meantime my computer crashed and had to be repaired and everything was lost on my hard drive. I thought I had backed up the file on my network  Sad
I think I uploaded the FSSC file in the .zip so that people with more skill could upgrade it. Ive got my fingures crossed  Sad  Sad  Sad Angry  Angry  Angry  Angry  Angry Cry  Cry   Cry  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Off now to hunt for it in the deepest parts of SimV file system.

Shocked

Makes you go cold doesn't it.

I've lost little bits of scenery updates from time to time. The worst time was when I tried loading my FSSC file into Airport - and it converted the bloody thing without asking me first so that neither prog could read it!

Luckily I'd just taken a backup the day before under another name and I only lost a couple of macros which I was able to pop back into the backup again.

Phew!

Wink

Glad you 've still got yours!

Certainly went cold when I realised what i'd done.... Roll Eyes
Unfortunately i've lost my macros i made but there not any great loss as hey were my first attempt a EOD.
Im going to see if I can find a book with lots of pictures of the airport, there are very few of any use anywhere on the internet that i've found. Do you know any good sites for this kind of thing? It would be nice to make it more like reallife.
Just got to work out the new AFCAD  Cheesy
Birdman.

Wotcha birdie,

No all you can do is search the net but don't forget to look at airliners.net and jetphotos, specifying that you want shots at Bristol (Filton presumably)

I got 54 shots on airliners.net and 27 on jetphotos. Mostly they would be shots of planes but you will always get a few with buildings and stuff included or in the background

Its actually Lulsgate Wink
Or Bristol 'International' Airport... Roll Eyes
I've looked at Airliners.net many times (a briliant site) but as you say with Filton it just has aircraft with grass. I'll have a look at jetphotos, ive never heard of that one before. Thanks RollerBall.
