and I had to find about it on the (ugh!) news?
Sure it's a few days old, but I expected my friends at Simviation to find out!
Both pilots survived (still how is a mystery) a pilot flying nearby said he saw the two , then a fireball.
Both Hornets, same squadron, USMC out of Beaufort SC

I think the same thing happened in BC about a year ago.
