Uninstalling the sim will only remove default files. You would have to delete the FS2002 folder afterwards to do a full uninstall.

Deleting or moving the folder of a 3rd party aircraft from FS2002\AIRCRAFT is all you should need to do to remove it. Make sure you deleted the correct ones. Also be careful not to delete or remove default aircraft.

Also check in FS for an uninstall file for that aircraft. Go to the main FS2002 folder and look there first,it may be handy if you have the zip file handy to identify it although if you activate an uninstall it should identify itself before allowing you to proceed.

The other place to look is ADD/REMOVE Programs as some will end up there. You can also use the SEARCH option in the Start section to track down what you need to find what you need to remove those aircraft.

This mucking about ios why some of us really do like to manually install aircraft------we KNOW where the files have gone.

And ,no,I don't mean to start another debate Roll Eyes

I've just reinstalled FS2002 Pro myself. Here's a shot of the Aircraft folder showing the default aircraft. Any others will be 3rd party aircraft.
