What is the function of the autobrakes on the Boeing
Aircraft in FS 2002. When should this be enabled.

I have tried landing the 737, 747 with the autobrakes and they engage upon landing. However, the checklists say that these should be in the off position.

Finally, there is a selection on the autobrakes - RTO.
What does this stand for?

autobrakes can be set at the begining of your decent into your airport, best to use about 2 unless you need to stop quickly, RTO is for rejected takeoff, set it to RTO before you enter the runway, and remember to turn it to off after your in the air.
