my download criteria.  A while back I set a downward limit of 1.5 megs to eliminate all the weaker planes.

Then out of desparation for an F-86 Sabre, I broke my own rule and downloaded Mike Stone's F-86 from his web site

http://www.pmstone.com/

This is an excellent plane considering the file is only 664kb and that includes gauges.  Admittedly, it is not on par with Lago's Falcon, but for a small download it far exceeded my expectations.  It's a little sparse on the detail, but still looks fantastic, especially with the reflections.

mucho like!

Some pretty neat things can be done smaller than one MB. Yes, you shoudl re-evaluate. I think Chuck Dome has made some Beechcraft smaller than a MEG or about the same size, and they are pretty good!

Definatly reevaluate. Most CFS3 aircraft are below 1.5mb and there are some very fine planes avaliable. However small files are less likely to have DVC's etc but with some planes it don't matter.

Excuse me. Both of Didiers aircraft are under a MB. Most repaints are less than 1.5mb. As are many others.

Whats more there are quite a few CFS3 aircraft at Sim-outhouse.com and AVhistory. Infact even I was surprised. Tongue

Hi Fozzer!

Unfortunantly, The updated version was only uploaded to Mr. Dome's website and travelled down the download list and subsequently was dropped for all the newer stuff and is no longer available. The bottom screenshot is a repaint that I never released to the general public.

sorry Sad

P.S. it uses the same lovely walnut panel as Chuck Dome's plane... Wink...!
Mind you, it's 5.23 Meg in size, which rather defeats this subject on small download sizes... Cry...!
