I have had this problem since I installed FS2002. All the airports that I have tried (Meigs, LAX, SFO, and my local airport) show up as blank grey areas with no buildings or runways. Does anyone know why this is? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ???

Dave, are you sure you're using 'kosher' M$ supplied software and not warez off the net?
I have to say that the great majority of the kind of problems you describe have come from the latter. We cannot support you if so, so we need your reply if we are to help.
For the information of ANYONE reading this, if you are using warez or downloaded beta software don't bother posting. It is full of errors and glitches - scenery errors etc etc. M$ declare the known bugs in the official accompanying documentation and it is not suitable for actual use.

It's ok guys, it's a real copy, it was just a problem during the install. I hadn't had enough free space (strange, since before I started the install I had 4.5GB free) and it got hung up during the decompression of scenery portion. End result is that I freed up more space and reinstalled it and now it works fine.
