Fastest? Why that would be a, dare I say it? A...A....A...
Super Connie!!!!!!!!!!!
Only reason she died out was the advent of the 707.
Fastest prop Airliner and earlier models of regular Connie were military transports during WWII.

Tell ya what I'll drop the Rockwell Commander to lobby for a Spruce Goose. If theres not enough votes it's back to the Commander. I think you're right if you look outside the mainstream.

Okay! I still would like a really nice turbo twin thing but your forte seems to be in the larger craft and the selection really leaves me no choice. Forget the rest Connie's the best.

Any kind of vintage, multi-engined prop aircraft, whether military or civil. I've been waiting for a good B-17 since I first started FS, and have yet to see one!

I did have a poll at the top of this page, but I wasn't sure if it worked, so I deleted it. I have since discovered that I have to vote to be able to see the results. I'm not sure how everyone would feel about having to vote all over again.

I saw the poll had no votes today so I voted again for the Connie. Now it looks like the same results as it was before! What! NO cheating?
