Connecting Gauges to Sound Files... (Read 161 times)

???
I am having a real problem posting panels I have created using 3rd party gauges that have sounds connected to them. I have downloaded countless panels and gauges and when I use them in panels of my own making they of course work fine here as the sounds were all installed wiuth the panels/gauges. My question/problem is how do I now find out what sounds go with what gauges so I can include them with my panels...

I suspected as much, I even looked a bit for something to decompile them but really have no desire to spend a whole lot of time learning to code gauges so I can figure out the sounds they use.  I have looked at some of the xml code and agree I could likely wade thru it and ID the sounds they use - but I am pretty sure the sound in question is a uncommon one used in a C gauge. I am also aware that FSsound.dll might cure some problems - I have also seen a utility/application posted on AVSIM that claims to somehow patch FS to work even if it does not find all the sounds rather than to freak out, but I am leary and testing it here won't tell me anything anyway.  Any other help here would be appreciated as I am holding a update and put any future postings of my panels on hold until I can assure they will work on machines other than me own...
