Anyone ever wanted to fly a real bird?

Probably not the usual kind of request, but is it possible to make a bird that is flyable?  You know, like a sparrow or a seagull, or maybe even an albatross? Roll Eyes

I've been into the stranger types of aircraft available for downloads, but I have yet to see a true bird in the air.  Flying pigs I've seen, but not a single feathered friend to be found!

Is there one out there already, and if not, would you be interested in the designing of one?

Something Decent & Military.
Ric, your 757 is soo bloody good, but can we have something other than another airliner??? (please).
There are so many airliner models (that are really good) that its airliner ad-nauseum. Smiley
My vote would beEither the F-16, A-10 or C185!
If you want to do an airliner, my vote would be a propliner such as a DC6. I have a 1/4 finished DC6B that i am uninterested in finishing off, it has 64 sided fuselage etc - if you'd want the FSDS2 source file email me (Ric only) @ dave@aussim.com. Note i also have a 1% spreadsheet & generated airfile/aircraft.cfg to go with this too.

I actually meant the Cessna 185 in military markings - the RAAF used the C185 as both a FAC and Liason aircraft in Vietnam & until the late 1980's/early 1990's.

My thoughts also.

As much as I love airliners, I feel as though the "marketplace" has become over saturated. I guess we can't complain though huh?  Roll Eyes

If I were to do a C185, It would have to be the version with floats/wheels (in a Caravan style), as far as I'm aware, the military versions were all taildraggers?

This all brings us back to my gut feeling:- I want to do something different, something unusual. The fastest, the biggest, the oldest etc.

If someone could build me a Wellington Bomber I would be very grateful.  I lost a second cousin in one during WWII and have not been able to find a really nice model.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I've been wanting one of those forever.  I even tried to design my own a few times-didn't pan out to well.  Well, one of these days maybe I'll try it again.
