You are more than welcome Andy...I enjoy the repaint and the simulated aeroplane very much... Smiley

I think the ski settings are mixed up but the old grey matter is not working like it used to... Roll Eyes

Have the manual at the old homestead so will look it up next time we are there... Grin

Ski Position:
-Full UP
-1/4 Ski
-1/2 Ski
-3/4 Ski
-Full Down

One thing I should add Andy is when we landed to set up a cache on a frozen lake to be used in the spring or summer we would do it something like this:
-Precautionary Approach to have a good look at the area
-Full Ski Power On Touch Down and run Full Lenght of Landing  Area with aircraft weight on mains and tail ski not touching the snow/ice
-Another slow Precautionary Approach
.....if ski tracks are real dark then water is present
.....will not land
.....try another day

The other thing you must remember is the body of water has to be large enough to get a float or seaplane like the Consolidated PBY5A/Canso/Catalina or Beech 18 on floats into and out of with a full load.

Many a good cache has been lost because the body of water was not large enough or the island was not an island... Grin...how embarrassing... Shocked    Grin

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

A day in the life of Flyin' Trucker......I do envy you sir Cool

BTW Fantastic shot

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
