Please read the rules:

No links to other sites and this image appears to be edited Wink

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Not edited. I used my camera phone to photograph the image. I liked the softened, artistic effect.

I got the aircraft from the Simvation website.

I assume you are asking that. Next time please be specific. I dont read minds. Pilots I flew with, we talked specifically and directly. Saves time, toes don't get stepped on, and the lesson is learned.

I don't mean to come off as short, but you must realize that if you guys just read the rules these conversations wouldn't be needed Smiley

Your image needs to be uploaded to the SimV server. Not a linked image to Photobucket (in the rules...no mind reading needed Wink).
I'm not sure about taking screenshots with your camera phone either Huh
Seems like a form of editing to me.

i think i understand the issue. yall want a detailed screenshot. ill make another that is more suitable.

as far as the rules, doesnt say anything specific it must be a screen shot. but then again, we are taking computers. screen shots are more the typical.

Here's the rules page. Rule #8 deals with editing. At the bottom of the page it says "No linking images to other sites"

I don't know if taking the shot with your phone is considered editing or not. I'll run it by the other mods/admin.

* RULES *

THE RULES

Contest Starts January 15, 2013 and Ends February 25, 2013.

Below are the guidelines for Simviation's Screenshot Contest.
Any questions or comments should be directed to a judge and will be answered at the earliest available opportunity.
Any contestant judged to have violated these rules will have his entry removed and be disqualified.

1. This contest will run from January 15, 2013 until February 25, 2013. Entries submitted after Midnight on February 24, 2013 EST will not be accepted.  Judging will occur after February 25, 2013 EST and the 10 Finalists will be entered into the POLL that will be posted soon after! Now the Members will cast their vote in the Poll to determine this month's winner!

2. The Simviation Monthly Screen Shot Contest is OPEN TO ANYBODY who wants to test their skills! Whether you are a newbie or an avid Simviation poster, we want to see what you got! Please be honest and do not start creating new accounts that result in duplicate or multiple screenshot entries under different usernames. IP addresses will be tracked!  Wink

3. All images Must BE NO WIDER THAN 1024 AND NOT MORE THAN 155KB IN WEIGHT! No cropping, editing or adjusting your shot!! Any images over 155 kb in weight, and wider than 1024 will not be VALID!  This rule is now being enforced since This is a Screenshot Contest and we "want to see the RAW shot!" All entries must be uploaded to SimV.

4.
ONLY ONE ENTRY PER MEMBER!
Each contestant must start their own thread in the Screenshot Contest forum with their shot! Your entry must be included in this thread.

5. Screenshots from Flight Gear, FS98, FS2000, FS2002, FS2004, FSX & CFS series only please!!

6. Once an entry is submitted, it may not be changed or replaced.  This is to keep the confusion to a minimum, and to maintain forum integrity.  Entries may be withdrawn from the contest, but no additional entries from that member will be accepted.

7. Entries may be of freeware aircraft only! Environment and scenery add ons may be payware

8. Entries may not be edited in any way.  Any entry discovered to have been edited will be disqualified and the image removed from the contest.

9. All images must be produced specifically with the intent of entering them in this contest.  No screenshots previously posted images or pre-contest images will be accepted.

10. After the contest has ended and the judges have decided on the "Finalists", a "POLL" type thread will be started entitled, "Screenshot Finalists, Vote Now!" It will explain that the Poll will be closed within 48 hours. You must note the Post Time of this thread to know when it will close! This will allow the members to now vote for their favorite shot from the ones the judges have picked!

11. After 48 hours from the time the Finalist Announcement is made, the POLL will be closed and the Winner announced!

**
Linking images to other sites is NOT allowed and STRICTLY ENFORCED**
YOU CAN ONLY USE A FREEWARE SCREENSHOT CAPTURE PROGRAM!

Active Camera, Walk & Follow are NOT allowed!!

Good Luck to All and Thanks for playing!
