I wish to modernise the existing rather peculiar autopilot in this payware plane with something more useful. As it stands it is really just a wing leveller.
I would like the replacement to be integrated in the panel and not stand alone like the 'simple vasFMC'. I can use FS Panel Design but I'm no expert.
Alternatively, are there any payware autopilot utilities out there which can be installed in addon planes?

"FS Panel Studio" will do the job for you, easily; but remember you can only alter the 2D panel!
The VC panel is part of the model and cannot be changed.

Thanks, Fozzer, I use this already. I can substitute gauges from other planes sometimes but I've not attempted gauge design.
I'm on a lot of learning curves already and hoped to buy 'off the shelf' this time.

One thing to keep in mind JoHubb is that the autopilot for fixed wing aircraft is a part of the FS9 engine and is controlled by it. You can change the appearance of the control head but cannot change he autopilot per se without going into the FS9 program and I doubt if many of us know how to do that - or even want to attempt it.
