FSX INSTALLED ON SSD (Read 772 times)

Looking at purchasing a SSD drive to install FSX on to as drive  seems to be the bottleneck on my system...any sim user experiences of SSD apreciated

well now fitted SSD and after reinstall/rebuilding FSX now runing like a dream!!...big speed improvements loading and changing aircraft etc..highly recommend switch over...used ocz agility 120GB...does take some time to carefully reinstall/rebuild fsx and this alone can have big improvement but can honestly say now runing best ever

Hey, did you follow Nick's guide on system optimization when you installed your SSD? I wonder if steps on hard disk optimization in his guide apply to SSD as well...I'm interested in the section where he talks about Changes with setting up the BOOT system and superfetch. Are there any issues/changes to the system optimization guide when SSD is used?
