I get some news alerts for the USAF Heritage Flight program and today I spent more time looking over pictures and stories of it. Just the thought of hearing a Merlin and 2 P&W turbojets gives me goose bumps. Absolute favorite part of any airshow. I love the complete silence over the crowd as an F-22 on the wing of a P-51 fly by. Gets a lump in my throat every time I see it. The Navy heritage flights this summer were really good too. I saw those at Oshkosh with the specially painted F/A-18F and F/A-18C with a FJ Fury, T2 Buckeye, and a F2G Corsair (the Wildcat had problems and landed right after take off).
