One thing I would love to see in MS Flight is the replacement of the kneeboard with a computer.

Now this just wouldn't be any old computerized kneeboard, but rather a place where you could adjust ANY setting in the flight sim WITHOUT having to pause the game, pressing ALT and entering the menus. Rather, everything could be done from the computer, in game.

Imagine the level of immersion this would add to MS Flight, for example, if we wanted to check out something in the learning center in flight we could, or if we wanted to browse the web from the cockpit, or change airports or the weather without ever having to pause the game!

Just imagine the level of immersion this would bring to MS Flight!

Changing location in-game creates issues with graphic detail. FSX loads the entire world in really low res and only really populates the area your in with extra detail. You would really be straining a PC expecting it to hop to another airport with full detail on.

I would not mind if there is a loading screen for things like that, but you shouldn't have to click Alt and then once your done close the bar manually. It's such a waste of time when your doing multiple things with the menus.

Pressing ALT would turn the IPAD on, to which that is now where you HAVE to make all your changes.  no more of the ALT bar at the top.  ... oh, and make it mouse clickable so that you can click on your selections; make it just that much faster.

This would work too, although I doubt we will be seeing an Apple product in a Microsoft game.  Tongue
