How do I add call signs into the ATC, I've downloaded JetBlue Airways and a few others (SkyWest, British Airways [Speedbird]) and the ATC just refers to them by their flight number. Help?  Angry

If you're hearing the flight number then the atc_airline= entry is either not correct or the airline callsign is not in the default list of 'recognized' callsigns.

You must use callsigns that are 'recognized' by the ATC voicepack. Here is a list of FS2004 ATC recognized callsigns.  http://homepages.mcb.net/bones/04fs/download/downloads.htm The list is virtually the same in FS9 and FSX. When entering a callsign case isn't important but spelling, including spaces, is.

If you're unfamiliar with the aircraft.cfg entries for atc_airline=, or aircraft_type= and _model=, there are tutorials on the above site that will explain.

If the callsign(s) you need are not in the above list, EditVoicePack for FS9 or FSX http://www.fsonline.dk/en/index.php?title=EditVoicepack is a utility that can add more callsigns to the ATC Voicepack.

Dave

Below are the correct entries for the 3 airlines you  mentioned (FS2004 and FSX).

speed bird
skywest
jet blue

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

You know....you can just rip up a to-do list.

chances are jetblue isn't on that list, I think that airline started after FSX was released, there is a Voicepack creator that you can use to make your own, but I don't remember where it is located.
Skywest and speedbird should be in it though, I've heard them used in game.
