MiG-25R Foxbat-Bs have been growing on me recently. They can hit Mach 3.2 and can go more than 125,000 ft up! Shocked

Maybe a 777-200LR for a private jet; less time on the ground having to refuel.
I'd quite like a Mil Mi-24, for fun.
I would quite like to fly a Lightning as well, pretty fast!

Supersonic: Concorde. Not offered commercially; spacious compared to Blackbird or Foxbat; smaller than Tu-144 but quieter and longer ranged, and still more spacious than any Gulfstream.

Widebodies - a VIP A380 and a Tristar 500

A longhaul business jet for smaller airports - Dassault Falcon 7X

And a bush plane - Y-5. As an An-2 version, it is spacious, STOL and still in production. For An-2 decently furnished, see those:

I can't believe more people have said Concorde. It's an amazing aircraft!

I think you mean 'haven't said'. Makes a big difference. Tongue

Concorde is/was a beautiful piece of machinery but not very practical as a private bizjet. For a start, there are very few places you would be allowed to land or take off from.

I'd quite like something unique, with more than one seat, so I could share the experience with others. Smiley

How many civil airports stock the special fuel of Blackbird?

At least Concorde uses almost off-the-shelf airport infrastructure (I think runway surfaces must be checked for smoothness).

But yes, airports unreachable by Concorde may get something quieter, like A380 or Falcon 7X.

After I've made sure there's nobody watching, I still like to stick my hand out the car window and find that perfect angle of attack.  Logged some quality time doing that  Smiley.

Like this BBJ2?

Nice, though -700/BBJ1 has almost as much space, and slightly longer range.

Advantages shared by Tu-160.

BTW, for estimate of CRJ/Glex interior size see

A Concorde is roughly as wide (very slightly wider).

That is what I intended to write. I've got keyboard troubles. It's wireless. Only 11% battery and have run out of AA's

That's a poor excuse. You could have modified your post. Tongue

I much prefer my USB keyboard. Perhaps you should invest in some rechargeables.

Hmmmm several aircraft for several purposes I suppose...

I always though that should I ever win the lottery i would buy a PBY - Catalina amphibian and circumnavigate the world in it! It was one of the planes my grandfather flew on in the war.

For tearing it up through the mountains..... my no1 choice would be a P-51 mustang with a the P-38 lightning coming in at a very close second!

The same purpose but with a jet.....F-14 all the way baby! of course with the obligated top gun OST

For Business purpose..... A Mi-24/35 Hind should do the trick..... weapons on the outside and VIP config on the inside....nothing says more about a hostile takeover than arriving in your own attack helicopter.

To have in my room to look at.... A Spit and of course....the Wooden Wonder, A DeHavilland Mosquito of course in gunship configuration!

For Target practice A Gau-88 avenger cannon with an A-10 around it.

General transport.... gimme a L-100, 2 cars with ya and travel the world!

And just for the purpose of raising hell..... A Caspian Sea Monster would do!

That's my list I guess Grin
