Couldn't the tranny be simulated by adding the appropriate drag through spoilers?

You wouldn't get the torque benefits, but you would get the lower acceleration and top end. Smiley

I think the gear-shifting transmission can be made by adjusting the prop-pitch.

With this method, you can climb up hills at high RPM with no drag as compared to Silver's idea.

That's a very good idea for my Porsche.

Besides, the spoiler will be used to open the front hood of the car. Thus, showing the engine and its parts.

You could incorporate half split gear changes on the Scania......

one problem the porsche 993, like most other porsches (and all 911s) is a rear engine car

yup most porsches are rear engine cars and are rwd, nowadays some are awd like the modern turbo, carrera 4s, carrera gt, gt3 and the new gt2

also a logical shifting idea would be using flaps as geers. . .just my 2 cents worth
