hey I am new to the whole seen, but this game has me wanting to figure evrything out. I was thinking on the idea of partitioning my hard drive and install a second windows, bare bones it to run games only, in hopes of a better performance. I have a million processes going on normally, this would have to help!  I have a high perfomance machine but still get framerate problems . Or beter yet can you run cfs2 on dos??? without windows?              I am well aware of the other hardware mods that will boost performance, was just seeking alternatives

I posted my specs below   I am shure its the ram, but still thought it would be good to have a gamming boot of windows. where its set for only running games, no other apps to run in the background.I just started flying last week, I am shure i will eventually be upgrading to the latest and greatest flight sim soon!Anyhow,  i will be experimenting with windows (xp)  to see what i can do if anyone has any ideas leave them, I will post my results here if anybodys interested.
