Suspect that possibly that Ruskie freight carrier is/was the largest-can't recall the name but it has a bit missing underneath, probably to accomodate a Bungalow Grin

Not sure of the speed record, but has anyone tried looping the Bell? ???

the world speed record for a helicopter is 249.10 mph (400.80 km/h). This record was set in August 1986, with a Westland Lynx from the United Kingdom flying over a 15 km course, piloted by John Egginton.

still hasnt been beaten,

Biggest flying (size and weight): Mi-26 (100-200 passengers depending on the overload factor the pilot accepts Smiley 26 000 kg cargo inside or on a hook. firefighting version has a 16 000 liter water container)
...
i think all those guys can get in this thing whitout overloading it

Biggest flown-a-few-times. this is still the absolute record holder in size and cargo capacity: Mi-12 (take 2 Mi-6 drivetrains, put them on wings and add the largest fuselage you safely can get in the air with those)
max load: 40 000kg
...

Previous record-holders:
Size: Mi-6
...

Cargo: Mi-10
...

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

now you probably got the reason why its illegal to use russian helos in the USA... they cant stand that they are bigger than the ones they make themselves
