Well, Hagar's autumn post inspired me to post my own autumn pics from a photography class field trip last year.  Unfortunately, the trees weren't too colorful because of the drought that year.

Since Fort Monroe (Hampton, Va) is still used by the Army, the MP's were keeping a close eye on us and were always telling us what we are and are not allowed to photograph.  But we made it through the trip without running into any real trouble.  Grin

Excellent photos Daniel. Thanks for posting them. I think it's a great to see something of each other's countries.

Almost, but not quite, as good as being there. This gives me a hankering to return to your neck of the woods one day.Wink

PS. The street inside the fort looks very similar to the road I live in. Wink
